Moving a Category
To move a Category
- Navigate to the required Category via the Products tab.
- Check the box next to the each Category you wish to move
- Select the Move/Link to Category for the checked options to appear under in the settings window on the right hand side.
- Click the MOVE TO CATEGORY button to move the Categories to the chosen parent Category.
You can also move categories via a drag/drop option.

In the ecommerce > Display Options area you can check a box 'Show Product Sorting Dropdown' to show a product sorting option on the Product list page. Sorting can also be changed globally and per category.
by default hiding a category does not hide the products within it. By checking the cascade security options found in the Category settings area the security setting you choose for the categories can be applied to the subcategories and products within.
