Adding content to the top of a Category Page
To add content that will appear at the top of all Category / Product List pages
To add intro content that will appear on all Category pages, click the main ECOMMERCE link, then the INTRO button at the top-right.
To add content that will appear at the top of single Category / Product List page
To add intro content that will only appear at the top of the specific Category - navigate to the relevant Category and click the INTRO button found there.
When editing a Category - you can also click the top INTRO button, or the Category Header edit button.
To add content that will appear at the top of the main Category / Product List page
As the main category does not have its own settings area, you need to go to the main ECOMMERCE page to access it.
- Click the ECOMMERCE menu link
- Find the Display Options area and click the INSERT CUSTOM TEXT button
- From the options presented click the SHOPPING MAIN PAGE - HEADER area to add content.

In the ecommerce > Display Options area you can check a box 'Show Product Sorting Dropdown' to show a product sorting option on the Product list page. Sorting can also be changed globally and per category.
by default hiding a category does not hide the products within it. By checking the cascade security options found in the Category settings area the security setting you choose for the categories can be applied to the subcategories and products within.
