Trouble delivering emails to XTRA?

Are you having trouble delivering emails to xtra customers? You are not alone. And this is not a system error. The issue is with XTRA mail filter SMX. They are trying to reduce spam to xtra customers, but in the process, they are blocking large amounts of legitimate email too.

Your error messages might look like this:  status=bounced (host mx.xtra.co.nz[210.55.143.33] said: 554 5.7.1 Message rejected due to possible spam content (in reply to end of DATA command))

If you use our email servers to send your newsletters, and you get large failure rates to xtra addresses, then we request you do the following.

Send a copy of your email (as an attachment) to emailT2@spark.co.nz

Tell them that you use the following Website World mail servers to send your emails

maila.cms-tool.net has address 54.153.213.135
mailb.cms-tool.net has address 54.252.244.177

If we manage your DNS for you, then you should tell them that you have a valid SPF record, and that the emails have DKIM verification in place.

Assuming that you do comply with the unsolicited messages act, there is no reason that Xtra should block your legitimate email that you send to your customers.
