Our group training sessions are perfect for learning more and asking questions. Introduction course covers all the basics including design, content management, galleries, enquiry forms, shopping carts, domain names, and how to go live. Our Search Engine Optimisation course is great for learning how to get your website higher on Google.

One on One Training is available at our offices in Auckland on an appointment basis, at $90 per hour. Other times may be considered in other regions for group or half day training.

Contact us for a quote, our professional designers can do plenty of magic in just 2 hours (2 hours=$180+gst), however if you specify your budget, they will do their best in the time given.

We encourage any accommodation providers to consider using the availability and booking widgets from www.availability.co.nz and www.resbook.co.nz .

 

Multiple Product Images with Lightbox Zoom/Slideshow

You can now add multiple product photos and zoom in and view a slideshow using the elegant "lightbox" feature. This is a great option for providing multiple views of the same product.

 

Improved Add Page Options

When adding new pages, you can now specify the menu button position, or select from 3 different hidden/search options.

You can also specifiy particular security levels or member groups for password protection.

 

Improved Product/Category Link Wizards

It is now easier to link to categories and products via the link wizard. We have utilised the tree structure for sites with large category lists. And a similar navigation can be used to find category products in larger databases.

 

Professional Design - HR Toolkit

We have just completed a makeover of the HR Toolkit website. This was a full priced redesign including special graphic/menu on home page, and login and quick links etc on right column.

BTW - This is a fantastic resource for all of you who employ, or are considering employing. We make use of their very affordable service ourselves. We also really encourage you all to join their mailing list, and keep up to date with important changes to employment law in consise plain english.

You may have heard about a new business directory on the way from NZ Post. We suggest you go to their website and register your business ASAP.

Search Engine Optimisation Tip of the Month - Product URLs

We now have new and improved URL's for all products, using a reduced search engine friendly format, which also allows the use of SEO keyworded filenames. Filenames must be unique per product. We believe this change will really improve the search ranking for many online shops. If you have previously used the link wizard for inserting product URLs into content pages, then you should relink those for maxium search engine ranking.

You can also customise page filenames, category filenames, gallery item page filenames, faq item page filenames and more. Each filename should be unique across your whole website.

Using a different keyphrase within your filename will help your search ranking for that phrase. It takes a while for google to pick up on the change, but it will eventually. Filenames have no spaces and typically end in .html, eg "buy-cheap-red-shoes-here.html"
