Assessment Two is the second of six assessments to achieve your Website World certification. It will test your mastery of skills taught during Sections 4 and 5 of the Beginner level course. One of the Website World team will personally check your assessment.
To achieve Assessment Two successfully, you must:
- have completed Section 4, where you learnt how to:
- add a new product to your shop (general stock item)
- add a basic product description to your product
- give it a price, product code and main image
- set up variations for a product
- set up a new category and added your product into it.
- set up at least one type of freight
- set up your currency and payment options
Specifically for this assessment, you must use the same website used in Assessment One. You need need to:
- add a variable product to your website. This is a product which has different options a customer can choose from - we suggest using our t-shirt example.
- write a basic product description for your product
- give your product a price, product code and main image
- set up size variations for your product: Big & Little
- set up colour variations for your product: Red & Blue
- set up a new category and add your product into it
- set up your shopping cart currency
- set up one type of freight
Above (numbers 1-8) are the criteria against which Assessment 2 will be given either a Pass or a Resit grade. If a Re-sit is necessary, the Website World team member will explain which point needs correcting and refer you to the Beginner Section in which that point was covered. A Pass grade means you can move onto the next level assessment (Assessment 3). Please use the same trial website for all of your assessments.
