New Features

Image Presets

We have now implemented the ability to set the default image resize options that you can select when uploading images to your site. This can be done via the colours and other images area found under the Design Tab.

Options for image Presets are, Auto Resize, Blog Images, Banner Images, small medium and large images.

Once these have been set up. every time you then upload an image you can select the preset size that you require.

New Templates

New standard templates as well as some new E-Commerce templates are available.

Background Images

New background tiles have been added to the Clip Art Gallery under "Clip Art Backgrounds" as well as some full page background wallpapers under "Blurred Wallpapers"

SoundCloud

If any body has been looking at streaming audio over there website or have a band website that requires a playlist. Then we recommend the use of SoundCloud

With SoundCloud you can upload any sound file you like and then embed a player into your web page. The sound or music is then streamed via SoundCloud through your website to your audience. The SoundCloud player has Social Networking functions that allow it to be shared on other platforms such as facebook. It also allow people to comment not just on the file but at certain intervals during the sound bite.

Mobile Version

Mobile version custom templates available now. Override our default mobile version with your own mobile templates. These highly customisable templates allow you to control the visual level of your mobile interface, while giving your customers access to your full range of content and online services. Avoid the cost of having a company design a second and limited mobile website for you, when you can have everything in one place. Mobile and Tablet devices now make up a notible chunk of traffic.

Saving Shopping Carts

We've added a "save shopping cart" feature to all shopping carts, allowing users to save their order and come back to it later. It's very easy to use, they just provide a name and email, and they will get an email in their inbox with a link to "resume shopping". This feature is great for couples, families and teams who need to discuss an order before completing the purchase.

We are also adding a "wishlist" or "wedding list" feature soon. Stay tuned.

Training Options

We've updated 3 of our training videos to the new look and feel and incorporating new features... Learn how to insert a photo and the options available.. Also general note that Vimeo is better for uploading/sharing videos than youtube

Our original videos are still available to help you setup your website, or shopping cart, or payment options. Please note these videos show the old look and feel CMS and we are slowely upgrading the videos.

    Design Tips - Embedding Web Fonts

    Many of you are aware of the font selections available from the CMS system. However traditionally these have been restrained by generic font families that are available on the viewers computer. Now there is the ability to use any font you like on your website by linking to online font depositories such as Google Fonts!.

    On their site Google provide a demonstration video on how to apply one of the fonts from their font library to a website. GoogleFonts.com However there are a few differences when using our system so I have written an explanation on the process of using Google Fonts with your website in our CMS.

    Free Websites For Charity

    There are 2 new hosting plans, FREE for very charitable websites serving the greater good helping those less fortunate, or $150/year for other community groups and sports teams. Existing customers may retrospectively request these plans.

    All charities must comply with our special terms and conditions, primarily that they must not have any paid staff or income apart from donations. Free websites will include an advert promoting website builder services.
