Traffic Limits Doubled

Traffic on hosting plans is doubling, and excess traffic fees reducing.

We have resigned our data center contract and got a much better deal on international traffic.

If you require personalised training, we can provide this training to you over the phone, or in person at our offices in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Training costs $100 per hour by either method. Minimum time is 30 minutes.

CMS Login Upgrades

You can now login even faster to website builder by clicking the new login button. It will auto log you in if selected. We have been making lots of performance increases on our CMS, we hope you like the changes.

Iphone / Blackberry Mobile Phone Versions 

All websites when viewed via a mobile device now get a more efficient interface for accessing the important information quickly. All design components are stripped out, and replaced with a welcome screen and sitemap, so the user can quickly get to the content they need. 

You can customise the mobile welcome screen via the Custom Template zone in the design settings area. You can also disable the automatic mobile device versions by contacting our support and requesting this. We'd really encourage you to consider the value of the mobile version first.

New Popup Widgets

We have added some great new popup widgets. These widgets can connect to an image link, or button, and provide fast and seemless access to social media, mailing list subscription, member logins, etc. Even more coming soon.

Linking Images

It is now easier to access the full array of link options after uploading an image. Linking product images to product pages makes a more intuitive use of your website for your users. 

Using some of our new popup widgets is a great way to turn an image into a button. 

New Clipart - Shopping Buttons

Mike has been busy creating lots of new clipart buttons for shopping and member pages. Add our "on sale" graphics to encourage your customers to an impulse purchase. There is alot more to see in the clipart area now, so not to be ignored.

Search Engine Optimisation Tip of the Month 

Incoming links is the key to a higher position on google. The more links the better. But the better the link, even better. A link from other reputable websites will help your rank and reputation grow. A link from someones home page will help even more. 

Incoming links are "links from other websites to yours". So you need to ask other people to make those links for you. Linking from your website outwards does nothing to help people come to your website and only helps them leave.

It's a hard job finding people who will link to you. At the very least you should dedicate an afternoon to getting listed on as many web directories as possible. One of those places where you can get a link is from our very own www.megamart.co.nz business directory
