This CDN network will also provide more robustness to our server uptime, providing access to cached versions of the website in the case of outages on international connections.
Normally you would need to pay about $40-$50 a month for a CDN service, however, we plan to give all our customers the benefit of this CDN service absolutely free.
You can now exclude certain categories from discounts, as well as including certain categories from discounts. By using a hidden category, and assigning it as an "extra category" to a product, you can create complex inclusion/exclusion rules.
And yes we will have discretionary discount option in the new POS system under development.
Did you know when you are editing products, if you click on the stock count, you get the stock management screen, and if you click on the price you get the price management screen, and if you click on the photo you get the photo management screen, but if you click on the title, you get the default product details editing page.
You can also drag and drop the products into the order you want, but take note that if you have some products in multiple categories, you might get odd results from time to time, as the position of shared products is shared across on categories where it exists...
We have created a new support roster for our team, we trust this will produce a faster response to emailed support tickets. Please note that our phones are often busy, as we only answer 1 call at a time, and emailed support tickets are more likely to result in service from other staff and enable us to research your issue before we talk to you.
We have been working on a very simple new POS service, that is essentially an efficient version of your existing online catalogue to enable you to capture orders from customers who come into your showroom. You can add Cash/Eftpos as a payment method, and you can produce sales reports within the reports area of the CMS.
We will also be adding more features into our CMS over the coming months to better help you manage your stock.
The very early stages of POS development are live, and you might even find a use for it now. You can find a link to the POS system under the shopping tab in the CMS. Please note is still needs a fair bit of tweaking, and yes we will be adding a discretionary manager discount option in the near future.
If you havn't been in the shopping cart reports area for some time, there are now more category and product sales reports that you can drill through. We will be doing more work in this area this year, particularly around stock control.
