New Approach To Design and Training

All our design consultants are now independent contractors and resellers. You can see all the available consultants at the follownig link.

If you require training or professional help getting started with your website, please contact a local consultant or review their portfolios and special pricing if you want to do it virtually. We have authorised all our resellers and design consultants to engage with you directly, and bill you directly for their time. 

New Shopping Cart Logic Live

Our old shopping cart has been replaced with a completely new shopping cart. 

We hope you like the following new features

  • Thumbnails of images appearing in your invoices and email notifications. 
  • A new narrow cart option that shows the contents of your shopping basket on all pages. [see example]
  • Savings and discounts are more clearly shown to customers. If you are in a wholesale relationship, you can disable these savings if you want, please login and change the configuration setting. 

New Payment Gateway - Polipay

PoliPay is a great payment option for those who want instant notifications for customers who pay by online banking. 

You may have already used PoliPay via the air new zealand website. 

We will shortly be adding PoliPay to our list of payment methods for our own invoicing system.

Training Seminars Available

We have some great training options available. 

  • 1 hour demonstration of website builder which is great for new users, learn the basics from Ian. Cost only $35+gst. Several dates available. 
  • 2 hour "next step" training session for those who want to learn more detail about Websitebuilder from Reuben the CEO. 15th October - Cost only $65+gst
  • 2 hour "Ecommerce focus" training session for those who want to learn more about the advanced ecommerce features. Also on the 15th October, and also $65. 

For those who are not in Auckland, you might like to fly in for the occassion? We've timed the courses to make it accessable with flight times or school days...

Personalised one-on-one training 

If you require personalised training, we can provide this training in person at our offices in Grey Lynn, Auckland, or over the phone. Training costs $100 per hour. 

We would encourage all customers to get at least one hour of training at the early stages of building their website, and one more review prior to going live, just to give your website that professional critique, and quick tidy up of the rough bits.

Better Broadband

We have teamed up with the awesome 2talk team to offer you some great broadband options. If you have become disgruntled with your current telco, now is the time to move your business to voip and get a great bundled broadband offering.

New Telephone Portal

We've performed along overdue upgrade to our telephone voice menu. A new professionally recorded voice will take you to the most requested areas, and get the right person in touch with you quicker. You can speed up the process if you press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts or 3 for support... Ask the team for their DDI access number if you want faster access to specific people. 

Please note, that email is always the best way to communicate with us as you can provide more information, screenshots, links etc. Phone calls often take 15 minutes, and at peak times we cannot answer all calls. 

We have also removed the 3rd party call center that we had answering the phones for the last few months, and have reduced our regional numbers. We now have just 3 simple free phone numbers.

Emergency Support Requests

And via our online support portal, we provide a new option to lodge urgent support requests. These special requests will send SMS alert messages to the whole team, which is much better than calling us after hours. Such urgent service incurs a support fee if misused. Free emergency support is to notifiy of us of a major outage or business process impediment for a live website.

New Shopping Cart 

We have been working on a replacement for the current shopping cart, with some great new layout options for advanced users... Our developers are working on the finishing touches and our designers are working these into the existing templates. 

Most exciting will be a narrow "ticker tape" version of the shopping cart similar to a supermarket receipt..  

We envision the upgrade will happen sometime in late September. Most users will not notice any differences, however anyone who has spent effort customising the look of their shopping cart with CSS code may need to revisit this work. 

New Click to Edit Mode 

We have a new WYSIWYG editor mode for websites. It's great for people who like to navigate their website normally and just click to edit any element they want.

Due to popular feedback, we will be retaining the current navigational approach in the CMS, so you can choose which way you want to edit your pages.

To access the new click to edit mode, just click on the orange "Edit Content" button in the CMS.

Get Free Links to your website - Search Engine Optimisation

We have upgraded our SEO area in the CMS further, and you can now get free links to lots of affiliated business directories. 

Just hover over the SEO tab in the CMS, and click on "Link Building (Directories). 

Most directories are free, and we have already given a free link to all our customers in the: Website Builder Customer Directory.

Please help us make this community directory better by updating your classification and information.

There are several places you can find answers to questions about how to build your website and add features (which, there are a lot of) and its free for you to look:

If you can't find the answer you need - then the best way to get an answer fast is to log a support ticket:

SUPPORT TICKETS / CONTACT US / GET PROFESSIONAL HELP 

In 99% of cases the answer to a problem is covered in one (or more) of these places. We always fix bugs fast, with all the users we have we get notified very fast of any real bug -  they are not common, so if you are having an issue operating the CMS consider some online training with us - you'll always take something away worth value. In all other cases we are happy to do anything you are having trouble doing yourself for a small fee starting from $20 for 10 minutes.
