You need a forwarding email address when you have a domain name. All email addresses that use the domain name will be forwarded to a "real" (destination) email address.
Example forwarding rules
myname@exampledomain.com - forwards to -> testemail@gmail.com
myname@exampledomain.com - forwards to -> name2@exampledomain.com [must be a pop email account]
NOTE: For this second example to work name2@exampledomain.com would need to be set up as a pop mailbox. It cannot be yet another fowarding rule.
How to set up Email forwarding:
Click the domains/email tab at the top of the CMS.
Next to the domain name you wish to set the email up under, click the envelope symbol.
Place the "dummy" email address in the first box and the email address it is forwarding to in the second box.
Press "Create Forwarding Rule"
It may take up to an hour for this to take effect. You must be on a live email only or SSL hosting plan for this to function.
Transferring the domain
If you are transferring your domain name you will need to provide us with a "real" (destination) email address so we have somewhere to forward your domain name email to.
If you don't have an alternative email address, then we can set you up a new POP3 mail account.

Outlook for Mobile is not compatible with our mail servers when trying to connect via a secure (SSL) connection.

You can setup a mail account hosted with us in your standard Gmail account by linking it as a third party account
