New Features

Pimp My Site - Competition

We have started a new competition called "Pimp My Site" it is run through our Facebook page and we will be "Pimping" the winners site for FREE!!

Over the course of the month we will be reviewing the sites that have been submitted. We will be providing on what we might do to fix up your websites and an approximate value of the work. We also will be commenting and listening to your suggestions and directions so please feel free to put forward your own ideas and feelings towards submitted sites. We will select an overall winner and then pimp their site for FREE!.

Shopping Cart Tags

We will soon be introducing four Special Product Promotional abilities within the shopping cart that are outputted into designated areas within your websites template. The release of this option will also co-inside with some fresh new templates that incorporate these new features
The idea is that on your website, homepage or within your shopping cart you can have an area that will display special products that you want the viewers to take note of. i.e "Products on sale" or "New Products"
Products with in the shopping cart will have a special ability called "Promotion" You can change the Products Promotion status from the defaulted "General" to one of the promotional areas that you have on your site. The possible Promotions are "On Sale", "Best Seller", "New Item" and "Featured". Once selected the product will then appear in the template area designated to that Promotional Zone. This is great for home pages and shopping specific websites.

VendHQ is a Go!

VendHQ is now fully integrated and operational from with in the shopping cart set up area. For full instuctions on what VendHQ is and how to implement it with in our system

Pinterest Button

With the sudden rise and interest with Pinterest we have created a Pin It button that will allow viewers to pin you images to their PInterest Boards. The best implementation of this is by inserting the special code in your products full page description via the insert wizard. Once installed on your product pages viwers can then pin that product image to their Pinterest Boards which inturn will link back to your product page and website. Once Pined it can be shared and repinned by other Pinterest viewiers, since pinterst is also linked with facebook and twitter that information is also advertised across their social networks.

"Pinterest is driving more online traffic to retail websites than social networks LinkedIn, YouTube and Google+ combined, according to a January report from Shareaholic."

Our training videos are currently being updated with our New CMS layout plus we will be videos for recently added features. We will let you know as soon as they are made live.

Our original videos are still available to help you setup your website, or shopping cart, or payment options. Please note these videos show the old look and feel CMS and we are slowely upgrading the videos.

Social Networking Spotlight - Facebook Updates and Branding

I'm sure you're all aware of the new layout changes to Facebook. And the new time line that has been introduced to Personal Profiles and more recently groups and Business Pages

Search Engine Optimisation Tip of the Month

Link Placement.

The placement of where someone links to you from is important. If someone links to you from their home page, rather than some deep page, obviously that makes your website look more important, and search engines think the same.

On the flip side, you should link to other peoples websites from your Links pages, or Gallery pages or Advertiser pages. Do not link from your home page nor from your website template. The correct approach for reciprical linking is to link from your links page to each others home page.
