Discounts - Minimum Spend

The minimum spend requirement now has a different interpretation depending on other discount settings.

Minimum Spend for Free Shipping

If you want free shipping if spending over $100, then this $100 spend is based on all the products purchased (pre discount)

Minimum spend value if products/categories specified as part of the discount

If you have specified relevant conditions of products/categories that must be purchased, and a minimum quantity and spend required, then the minimum spend will focus only on products matching those conditions.

Example
If you offer 50% off apples when oranges are purchased and a minimum spend of $100.  Then it must be $100 worth of oranges that are purchased before you get the discounted apples, ignoring anything else in the cart.

It will not consider anything in the cart for example kiwifruit.

Minimum spend with Buy X get Y Free

If the discounted items have the same conditions as the reference items, (e.g Free Product is the same as the Reference Product) such as in buy 2 get 1 free deals, then the minimum spend will include the total pre discount value of the all the items including any free items.

Example
If buy 2 get 1 free oranges, with a minimum spend of $10, and the oranges are $1 each... Then you will get the free oranges as soon as you put $10 worth of oranges in your cart, but not before. The logic will ignore if you have kiwifruit in your cart.
