Basic Banner - Uploading an image from your computer
This is a basic banner, that will adjust to the width of a smaller screen.
If you wish to have more control over how your banner responds on mobile, or add text or a button on top, please use the alternative Content Box Editor approach instead.
If you wish to upload an image from your own computer,
- Click the Hoahoa pātene.
- Click on Banner Image.
- If there is already a banner image uploaded, click the blue picture icon in the middle of the image.
- Once you have found the image upload it onto the page.
- Then you will need to crop /resize it by selecting an option from the resize drop-down menu.
- If you don't want to crop the image, uncheck the maintain aspect ratio checkbox. This will then unlock the crop selection box allowing you to choose a custom area.
Once you have uploaded the image, a new box will appear where you can upload additional banner images to display as a slideshow.
Animation settings for these can be found underneath. You can also in most cases select whether the banner should be shown on the homepage only or all pages.
Removing the image
- If you are not happy with this image it can be removed by clicking the red cross button. Please be aware removing the banner may change how the page/template looks.

There are two approaches for managing banners - the default banner slider and the Contentbox slider.
"Design Settings", then "Banner Image".. then browse for your banner. You can make a few size changes to suit your template size after uploading.
