We have a position for a part time book keeper. Experience with Xero a must. Must have excellent all round communication skills, accounts collection experience, and excellent with numbers. Maintain confidentiality and be professional in all business communications.
Approximately 1 hour per day.
Tasks
- Import daily banking and assign receipts to customer accounts if not auto matched.
- Reconcile XERO bank transactions, including multi currency FX transfers
- Review customer account enquiries via email, and provide explanation of customer account status.
- Review domains expiring list, and renew important domains based on business rules.
- Create buyer created invoices for reseller commission payments, and make tax adjustments
- Fortnightly payroll and returns
- Receive invoices and load into Xero
- Setup payments for authorisation in online banking.
- Prepare and action Xero GST returns 2 monthly.
- Chase bad debtors
- Contact customers via telephone, who are due to go offline and encourage them to pay.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requires at least 15 minutes every business day to process banking and urgent queries, with other reconcilation/payroll tasks can be completed at anytime during the week.
